Agrivoltaics
Agri-Tracker — single-axis tracker for tall-crop agrivoltaics
The Agri-Tracker is the agrivoltaic configuration of the Truaxis Standard SAT. The mechanical specification is the Standard SAT base: ±55° rotation, brushless DC backtracking, 1P module orientation, 14–84 modules per row, 40 m/s wind survival, five foundation options.
What changes for agri-PV is the geometry choices around the steel: row spacing, panel height, tilt range during agronomic operations, and foundation density across cultivated soil. Those decisions are made site-by-site, against the specific crop and the harvest mechanisation it requires.
Configuration considerations
- Panel height — set to allow harvest-equipment access and crop canopy height
- Row spacing — balances PV yield against light availability for the crop underneath
- Foundation — selected to minimise disruption to existing soil structure and irrigation infrastructure
- Tilt range — tunable for site-specific shading-vs-yield optimisation
